Hailing from the Caribbean and molded by a Catholic/Anglican upbringing, Girl ZERO brings a unique and soulful perspective to the music scene. Her educational journey took her from a Canadian international school to the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, where she pursued a degree in music business, all while balancing the rigors of being a student-athlete.

From an early age, Girl ZERO was captivated by the rhythmic pulse of drumming, drawing early inspiration from that of her father’s music taste - Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley & Chicago - then on to her own appreciation for younger bands like bands like The Jonas Brothers, Simple Plan, and Good Charlotte.

 

As she grew, her musical influences expanded, embracing the anthemic sounds of The Fray, OneRepublic, Linkin' Park, Paramore, and Coldplay, while also delving into hip-hop and R&B through artists such as Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and The Black-Eyed Peas. Her deepening interest in music production led her to the beats of Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Zedd, shaping her unique sound.
 

Combining the edginess of guitar with the elegance of piano, Girl ZERO crafts music that reflects both the tumultuous and serene aspects of the human experience. Inspired by the emotive vocals of Celine Dion, Adele, Miley Cyrus, Florence and the Machine, and Rihanna, her voice captures a profound range of emotional depth.
